People tell us to “prep our food” and it sounds great but how the heck do you do it?? Being on the 21 day nutrition program, prepping is not an option so let me share what works best for me….
1. Take out ALL of your food (before picture)
2. Measure out the amount that you should have in a serving based on your needs. For me, I am using the color coded containers provided with the 21 Day Fix nutrition plan. Whatever you use, you must know exactly how much you need of each food group to get you the results you want.
3. Put the correct “serving size” for each item into a sandwich bag (as I have done in the after picture) or in a container.
You should end up with your entire refrigerator being full of individual servings of each food item. This way when you plan your meals all you have to do is grab-and-go.
This took us about 2 hours to cook everything and package it all for the entire week. Now, we just plan our meals the night before and grab the individual packets when we’re ready for them. Super Simple — THIS is “Fast Food!”:)
